To coach young student athletes to aim for success off the field.
Founded in 2013, Orange Arrow is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3), organization whose mission is to coach young student athletes to aim for success off the field. We offer engaging, sports-themed programming designed to develop winners outside of the sports realm. While emphasizing essential values such as hard work, determination and leadership, we maintain a competitive, team-oriented environment. Inspired by our founder’s personal journey from sports to philanthropy, our vision is that someday every young student athlete will aim to be a positive influencer to the world.
Pursuing a dream of professional sports.
Student athletes often hold unrealistic expectations about their chances of becoming professional athletes. According to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), of the 541,054 men’s high school basketball players, just 3.4 percent will play in college and only 1.2 percent of those will play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Likewise, of the 1,093,234 high school football players, just 6.5 percent will play in college and only 1.6 percent will play in the National Football League (NFL). These statistics are not publicized nearly as much as the dream of playing at the professional level.
The goal of Orange Arrow...
is not to discourage young athletes from pursuing a dream of professional sports, but to broaden the reality of those with athletic aspirations.
We aim to provide a practical vision of success in life, no matter which path they choose.
